What Is HondaLink?

HondaLink is a smartphone app that contains a suite of convenience features and services for Honda vehicle owners. It allows for seamless integration with your phone or mobile device, providing you with greater control and access to information than ever before.

Some of the key features of the HondaLink app include its ability to remotely start and stop the engine, remotely lock and unlock the doors, and send directions to the built-in Honda navigation system. What Are the Different HondaLink Plans?

There are various HondaLink plans to choose from, and each one includes access to different features and services. It’s worth noting that purchasing a new Honda often comes with a complimentary trial for a limited period. If you’re a new vehicle owner, it’s a good idea to take advantage of this so you can get a feel for what HondaLink has to offer. Let’s take a look at the different available plans.

This plan is complimentary to new Honda owners and is typically valid for three months. Like the Basic plan, this is also complimentary to select Honda models, but it provides additional features and services. If your vehicle is equipped with a navigation system, you can send destinations from your phone to the app to plan your routes more easily. You’ll receive a monthly report of your car’s health to your email address along with maintenance and service reminders. You can also access your dashboard through the app and find information such as:

Depending on the model and trim of your new Honda, you may receive a 12-month complimentary subscription to the Security plan. Afterwards, you can subscribe to it for $89 per year. This plan includes services that help you and your passengers stay safe, such as:

  • Enhanced roadside assistance.
  • Automatic collision notification.
  • Emergency calling.

A three-month complimentary subscription to this plan is sometimes offered with a new Honda vehicle. Beyond this, it costs $110 annually, but it gives you access to useful features, including Amazon Alexa so you can give commands to your car. This package also offers Amazon Key In-Car Delivery, which enables Amazon drivers to place deliveries inside your vehicle for added security. Other services and features you can enjoy with this plan are:

  • Remote Start.
  • Remote Lock and Unlock.
  • Find My Car.

Your personal concierge will be able to make reservations for restaurants, hotels, and even airlines, depending on your needs. This plan also allows you to send navigation destinations to your car.
