The HondaLink app is a prime example of how automakers are leveraging technology to provide customers with a range of additional features that make driving easier and more enjoyable. Let’s take a closer look at the HondaLink app and what it can offer to drivers.

What Is HondaLink?

HondaLink is a smartphone app that contains a suite of convenience features and services for Honda vehicle owners. It allows for seamless integration with your phone or mobile device, providing you with greater control and access to information than ever before.

Some of the key features of the HondaLink app include its ability to remotely start and stop the engine, remotely lock and unlock the doors, and send directions to the built-in Honda navigation system. It also enables access to maintenance information, such as service reminders and recommended service schedules. Whether you have a new Honda or an older model from 2013 or later, HondaLink is available to you and can help enhance your driving experience.

What Are the Different HondaLink Plans?

There are various HondaLink plans to choose from, and each one includes access to different features and services. It’s worth noting that purchasing a new Honda often comes with a complimentary trial for a limited period. If you’re a new vehicle owner, it’s a good idea to take advantage of this so you can get a feel for what HondaLink has to offer. Let’s take a look at the different available plans.

You can also access your dashboard through the app and find information such as:

  • Enhanced roadside assistance.
  • Automatic collision notification.

A three-month complimentary subscription to this plan is sometimes offered with a new Honda vehicle. Beyond this, it costs $110 annually, but it gives you access to useful features, including Amazon Alexa so you can give commands to your car. In general, Honda vehicles built in or after 2013 are compatible with HondaLink. Some may even come equipped with it, including new releases of the Civic, CR-V, and HR-V. However, it’s important to note that the features you can enjoy depend on both your chosen plan and the model and year of your car.
